This is a site for TecNica Volunteers, staff, and friends! We want to hear from you.
We would like to build this web site to include a wide variety of samples of the work of TecNica Volunteers, discussions of their experiences, comments in retrospect, and conclusions that you might have drawn from your experience. To do that, we need you!
We welcome submissions of information related to TecNica and its work in Nicaragua, Southern Africa, the United States, Canada, and the EU. Many volunteers educated their friends, neighbors, and communities upon their return; hence our interest in events in the US, Canada, and the EU.
We would like to facilitate getting any and all information that you would like to submit. If you have short comments, please use the comment boxes and the blog to discuss your experiences and reactions to this site. If you have longer comments, or would like to create a page or pages of your own, please provide your contact information (email address, etc.) in the comments box below and we will contact you to figure out the best way to accomplish what you would like to see.
Please maintain a respectful climate in comments and blog entries. Also, please remember the cultural respectfulness that you all showed during your project work.
Profiles of TecNica Volunteers
We would like to provide pages of profiles of individual volunteers who can provide sufficient information on their work projects. Whether or not you still have a project report, you can create one from memory! Please describe your project in as much detail as possible. Be sure to include information on how your work affected you and the impact it may have had on your host group. Of course we would welcome photographs of you and your co-workers — then and now!

Photographs
We welcome photographs of TecNica Volunteers at work, but cannot accept “travel photographs” of your trip.
We are still working out the easiest and best ways to receive more than a handful of photographs and welcome your ideas.
